The Planting Seeds Initiative
Black JD’s Planting Seeds Initiative aims to empower Black and Brown students to foster and develop the confidence and firsthand knowledge needed to achieve their dreams of becoming an attorney through our built-in network of supporters.
We intend to accomplish this by creating partnerships with high schools where we will offer teach-in sessions throughout the year and provide students an opportunity to become members of the organization. Additionally, as a Black JD member, students will have access to a plethora of resources, such as a pre-law kit featuring essential materials and activities throughout their legal journey, and a mentorship program staffed with dedicated volunteer lawyers willing to serve.
